What is the Future Of Festival?
Big changes are afoot in our world right now and it is increasingly evident that the future is up for grabs. The Future Of…Festival (FoF) is a national event series where young people, communities, schools and industries come together to explore bold questions, generate new ideas and co-create visions of thriving futures.
In 2025, Crazy Ideas College (CIC) is staging the 20 in 20 Future Of Series — 20 themed workshops in 20 different locations across Australia.
Each event, will see young people collaborating with business and community to generate novel insights and inspired ideas around a host of topics including:

How does it work?
This is a golden opportunity for young people, business and community to join together and find new ways to revitalise our communities, economies and environments.
Each event is co-designed with host partners and delivered by CIC, in collaboration with schools, councils, industry and community leaders.
Young people participate in high-energy activities to generate insights and ideas, then work alongside collaborators to deepen thinking, enrich ideas, and spot leverage points for change.

Each event is built around a future-shaping theme, tailored to host interests and priorities. Partners can nominate or help shape the theme that resonates most for their context.
